Learning Without Labels
Everyone has strengths, challenges, interests, and experiences that shape how we learn. Rather than focusing on labels, diagnoses, or test scores, I focus on the person in front of me—their curiosity, their goals, their questions, and the way they make sense of the world.
I believe learning is most meaningful when it connects to who we are. For some learners, that connection begins with mathematics, science, literature, art, music, engineering, or a favorite interest. For others, it begins with building confidence, discovering strengths, or finding a learning environment where they feel understood and supported.
Learning Without Labels is built on the belief that there are many valid paths to understanding. Growth does not look the same for everyone, and progress is not measured by a single standard. By meeting learners where they are and helping them build on what they already know, new learning has something solid to attach to.
Whether a learner is gifted, profoundly gifted, twice-exceptional, neurodivergent, lifelong learning, or simply looking for a different way to learn, the goal is the same: to foster curiosity, deepen understanding, build confidence, and create a sense of belonging.

Hello, and welcome.
I’m Tiffany Mendoza, a neurodivergent educator, lifelong learner, and the founder of Fun Learning with Tiffany.
Over the years, I have worked with learners from many different backgrounds, including gifted, profoundly gifted, twice-exceptional, neurodivergent, and lifelong learners. My approach combines both professional experience and lived experience, allowing me to understand that learning is rarely one-size-fits-all.
As a neurodivergent educator and the parent of a twice-exceptional neurodivergent child, I have seen firsthand how traditional educational approaches do not always meet the needs of every learner. These experiences have deepened my belief that meaningful learning begins with understanding the person in front of us—their strengths, challenges, interests, questions, and goals.
My background includes mathematics, science, logic, and interdisciplinary learning, but more importantly, I believe that curiosity is one of the most powerful tools for growth. Whether we are exploring algebra, astronomy, literature, engineering, creative problem-solving, or a learner’s special interests, my goal is to create an environment where learners feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to think deeply.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief:
There are many valid paths to understanding, and every learner deserves the opportunity to discover the path that works for them.
Who I Serve
Every learner brings their own strengths, challenges, interests, and ways of making sense of the world. My work is built around meeting each person where they are and helping them grow from that point. Here are some of the learners I support:
Gifted Learners
Learners who think deeply, make strong connections, and thrive when they are encouraged to explore ideas beyond traditional expectations. They may show asynchronous development — advanced in some areas while still growing in others — and benefit from learning experiences that honor their curiosity, pace, and need for meaningful challenge.
Profoundly Gifted Learners
Learners who often think in nonlinear, intuitive, or rapid‑connection ways that don’t always follow traditional sequences. They crave complexity, originality, and intellectual challenge, and they thrive in environments that honor the way their thinking unfolds.
Twice-Exceptional (2e) Learners
Learners who are both gifted and navigating ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, executive function challenges, disabilities, or other learning differences. They need support that recognizes both their strengths and their needs without minimizing either.
Neurodivergent Learners
Learners whose minds work in beautifully varied ways — autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, dyscalculic, and more. They thrive in environments that respect their thinking style, reduce unnecessary demands, and allow them to learn in ways that feel natural and regulating.
Lifelong Learners
Learners of any age who are driven by curiosity, personal growth, or the joy of understanding something new. They thrive in environments that honor their pace, their questions, and their desire to learn without pressure or judgment.
Learners with Diverse Strengths and Challenges
Learners who don’t fit neatly into categories — or who prefer not to. Some have uneven skill profiles, some are still discovering their strengths, and some need support that shifts from day to day. They may be rebuilding confidence, navigating frustration, or searching for a space where they feel understood. They benefit from learning experiences that adapt to who they are, not who they’re expected to be.
You do not need a label to belong here. The desire to learn is enough.
